Introduction to Basic Rules of Football

Football is a popular sport played all over the world. It is a team sport played between two teams, each consisting of eleven players. The game is played using a round ball and the oective is to score more goals than the opposing team within the allotted time.

1. Field and Equipment

Football is played on a rectangular field called a pitch. The pitch is typical de of grass or artificial turf. 2. Game Flow

The oective of the game is to score goals. A goal is scored when the ball crosses the goal line and goes into the net between the goalposts and under the crosar. Each goal counts as one point. The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins.
